The Falcon Inn, Willenhall

I am a reader of this site rather than a reviewer and was in two minds whether to add a review here or not. To sing its praises is to reveal a secret world that perhaps should remain secret to retain its mojo, but only one review here is not enough when even your run of the mill Wetherspoons gets a daily update. This is a fantastic pub that uses Samuel Smith (the very definition of "London beer") as its pig swill rather than Carling. The unusual location and interesting beers (Outlaw & Pardoes as guests!) make it the only CAMRA approved pub I visited in the Walsall area worth commenting on. Am I too late to get the first mention in of the Black Country Arms in Walsall town centre?

The Reservoir, Aston

Closed now. Last saw it with boarded up windows and council notes on the door.
