Lovely little pub with good hearty cooking. Went to book it for something to eat, but the number is wrong on this site.

The Prince of Wales, Ilford

This was once a very lovely pub. I've been drinking in it for 14 years along with many other regulars.

It seems every time I go there now, the deterioration shows more and more. This place has not seen a paint brush or new carpets or been re-upholsterd for 8 whole years and my goodness it shows!

I feel this is a great shame, as there is such a sense of community in this pub. I hope the brewery start pumping some money into it soon because the punters are fading fast, Nobody wants to drink or eat in a run down filthy pub do they?

Maybe the brewery want an excuse to sell it off to property developers, maybe not. I can't think of any other reason to let a perfectly decent pub get into this state.
