The Stanhope Arms, Kensington

Fantasic pub, I love this place. Always try to stop in for a pint or two whenever I'm down in London. Enjoyed a couple of jars on Saturday afternoon to pass the time. Sat outside as it was quite warm. Only grumble was the speed of the service, the pub wasn't exactly heaving but still a few people waiting at the bar which only had 1 person serving whilst the other 2 staff seemed more bothered about collecting the empties that pulling pints.

And why do people insist on wearing sunglasses when it isn't even sunny?

The Rocket, Euston

Decent boozer this I reckon & I'm surprised by it's low score. We popped in for a quick pint on Saturday & found the place to be spot on. Food looks decent & cheap enough although we didn't indulge. Will be putting this fine boozer 1st on the list the next time I'm in London.

The Euston Flyer, Euston

Enjoyed a cracking couple of beers in here on Saturday morning. Stuck to the fizzy stuff myself but was assured by my mate the Discovery was top notch. Also went for the all day breakfast which, if a little pricey, was still bang on the money.

Good stuff.
