I went to The Royal Duchess on Friday (13/02/09). Great atmosphere, great music. The only downside was some of the bar staff's tendency to serve their regulars before those who had been waiting. I will definitely be going back.

What was once a fun pub for an after work drink has become a dump.
The Friday 80s 'disco' became a bore very quickly (there are other decades). There is now no DJ on Fridays and the staff don't appear to be bothered about serving anyone.
Well worth avoiding.
