The Cambridge, Soho

Bar staff rude and aggresive. My brother was immediately accosted for ID before he'd even ordered a drink by a small angry woman with the manner and apperance of a bulldog. After we got our drinks we sat down and endured loud 80s disco music and angry glares from aforesaid 'woman' for the duration of our pints. Probably the worst pub I've encountered so far in London (Wetherspoons excepted)

The Arkley Hotel, Barnet

Got ID'd by big east german weightlifter type woman before we'd even got to the bar-and we weren't even drinking! Tried to order food as well but waited 20 minutes while evil barlady haraunged a confused old woman-(shouting 'shut up' to her at one point)before leaving for sunnier climes. Avoid like a plauge rat.

Ha Ha, Reading

Crawling with young professionals whining about their pointless middlec-class interests and generally annoying me. Once listened to some be-quiffed nobody discussing the merits of the gem squash over the common variety for over half an hour. Then I left. For ever.
