Tried to go there last Thursday (May 11th) and it was closed with scaffolding outside. Possibly for refurbishment but there were no signs indicating this, so maybe it's just closed...

The Salisbury, Harringay

Brilliant pub, can't recommend it highly enough. Don't visit that often but I'm proud to call it my local. Fantastic Victorian architecture, top grub, a good range of proper bitters and Czech lager - and it attracts a good mixed civilised crowd.

An amazing turnaround from the hovel that it used be a few years ago, when you used to go in and worry if you'd still have your teeth in your mouth by the time you left.
