The Globe, Covent Garden

Always had a great time in the Globe. I work frequently at the Opera House across the road and we always drink at the Globe, post show.

The service is part of the charm of the place. I've never seen anyone being treated as rudely as has been suggested on here and never seen any customers intimidating anyone at the bar.

It's not a glitzy, spangly bar by any stretch. It's a pub. I had a meeting there a few weeks ago and took my Jack Russell Terrier with me, they were very welcoming to us both.

Sometimes, the 'attitude' of the staff can be a little tongue in cheek but as I say, that's part if the charm of the place.
