Sullivans, Weybridge

While in a covert OP a few years ago, (can't really say where, lets just say it was South of the border), my friend Dinger mentioned that if we made it home alive we should go to Sullivans. Sadly Dinger didn't make it, took a pungee spike straight through the spleen, anyway I did, and found Sullivans to be very nice indeed, good food (especially on Sundays), good beer, and very friendly staff. Just avoid some of the over 50's divorcees in the evenings, they'll eat you for breakfast!

The Hand and Spear, Weybridge

While doing a stretch in the Black Beach prison with Simon Mann in Equatorial Guinea, I contracted dysentry. A few weeks ago, I had a few beers in the Hand and Spear with some old Eton chums, and the next morning I thought I had once again contracted dysentry. Dirty tables, fruit flies, dirty glasses and dirty beer, a big let down considering the usual high standards of Young's pubs.
