The Saxon Arms, Stratton

We have eaten and drunk here several times and it had always been excellent except for when we called in for Monday lunch. The food was obviously (and confirmed by the staff) Sunday's left over roast heated up. It was very poor (dried, stuck to the plate, etc) and we haven't been back since - this was in 2006/7. Pity because before this we would have given it 10 out of 10.

The Three Horseshoes, Burton Bradstock

Four of us had lunch here on 09.03.10. Very nice meal, friendly and efficient staff, excellent beer. Obviously other people thought it was good because it was very busy for a Tuesday in early March. And the fire was it!
