I guess I signed as a nostalgia trip and to revisit some of my old haunts, I started off searching for The Cherry Tree in Harleston Norfolk a real regular place with me 30 years ago.
Things pub wise are not the same here in NZ by a long chalk but it is improving.
I am keen on good food and wine and NZ does good in both areas. I read a lot and enjoy touring around NZ when I am not at work.

This was great country pub when I lived near by.The hunt used to meet there.
A very friendly and attractive pub with good Adnams on hand pump.

Never my favorite pub although it was walking distance to where I lived at Mendham Mill Cottage. Nice eating though, I see they have real ale now that would be an improvement.

The Dark Lantern, Aylesbury
This hidden away gem was a real live spot in the 70's The Nibblets had it then I presume retired now.
I would love to go back and see what is like now.
