Grate local pub taht caters for the many holiday makers who come to this delightful dale as walkers. Beer is from Dent Brewery and John and his wife Ann keep it in prime condition. They go out of their way to make you welcome and they keep a very good pub. The coooking is by John and is beyond reproach. After many years of variable Managers John and Ann have brought the pub up to a high standard.

The George And Dragon Hotel, Dent
Went back over Christmas and was very sad to find John and Anne had gone. Rather a shame as they made us so welcome - locals seemed to be disapointed too. Several of the Dent Brewery Ales were available on our visit.
