Ye White Hart, Barnes

Used to enjoy visiting here, it was a lovely traditional boozer that showed football and rugby, hosted a good quiz night and had a good atmosphere. The food was of a good standard as well.
However it's had a refurb. Good grief, it's had it soul ripped out and is now no longer a pub but somewhere to get overpriced over fancy nonsense food. Not enough comfy chairs, too many tables , it just looks like a restaurant.
It has one TV, we asked if they still will be showing sport, we were told it was only there for the boat race. I'm not joking. It was made clear they wanted to get rid of the Saturday afternoon sports drinkers. Those people who kept the place going.
It's unlikely we'll return having been regulars for a number of years.
We do wonder whether Youngs know what they're doing. Hopefully The Bull won't suffer the same fate.
