The Rose and Crown, Belgravia

A nice pub pub just off the beaten track of Kings Road. Was surprised to find it so down to earth compared to the other Gastro-pubs in the area. Lots of space outside including benches and canopy. The bar is huge, but not too shabby looking. Two real ale pumps, Spitfire and Bombardier. Two "T" bars with lagers, stour and bitter. Loads of old soldiers from the Royal Hospital Chelsea come to this place including two that are like Statler & Waldorf from the Muppets. Hilarious!

The cute bar maid was very bubbly and polite. Good Guinness on tap. Much better than some of the other places I have been to. The pool table takes up quite a bit of space, but the locals all seem to enjoy watching the games.

I didn't have any Thai food this visit, but the smell was heavenly. The punters looked like they were enjoying the food. All in all, a nice wee place.
