The Royal Oak, Maidenhead

The Royal Oak is now a Michelin starred restaurant (has been since early 2010) and it deserves it! If you like good food, I mean really good food, then try it out. You'll definitely have to book though.

Fox and Hounds, Church Crookham

Great pub! I've eaten and drunk here a few times and rate it for decent pub grub and a lovely position by the canal. The current landlord and landlady (very friendly) have been there since May 2010 so I don't think some of the previous comments still apply. They've settled in now so it's worth another trip if you've not been for a while. Still trying to win the pub quiz though!
