Ye Olde Reindeer, Banbury

This is Banbury's TOP pub! Good beer, service and ambiance! 'wellinformed' seems to be a frustrated critic who can't tell a steak from a nut roast! Having read his review of this pub and the Woolpack I would say he was drinking some other kind of fizzy beer and did so to excess! Still, if he prefers to drink 'up the road' then that will help this one remain No. 1 ! Oh and Dot and Tony aren't leaving this year so not so 'wellinformed'. Girls, this is the pub to enjoy beer without unwanted harrassment from the staff!

The Woolpack, Banbury

Visited last night for the first in a couple of years. Not sure what all the fuss is about! Beer lacked clarity and aroma was 'musty'. Staff were definately not female friendly and the landlord was more interested in my chest than his beer. Went to the Reindeer afterwards and I can confirm that 'wellinformed' is not as his name suggests, with the beer, service and ambiance making this THE pub in Banburyshire!
