Not a bad pub really, clean and well kept and the drink is fine but there are better pubs close by.

Rutland Arms, Hammersmith

Just a bad pub in every way. You might enjoy it if you've just started shaving and have never been in a proper pub. Everyone else should stay well away.

The Grove, Battersea

After going in this pub once then checking the comments on here out of interest, I had to return again as I couldn't believe the previous comments were about the same pub. Imagine my surprise when I found that I had not made a mistake and this was the same pub I was thinking of. To be fair, the service was good. But that's where the plus points of this pub end. Off the beaten track? It's next to a Sommerfield's on Battersea Park Road. From the outside, it looks like an extension of the supermarket. Inside it feels more like a plastic bar in Newquay than a pub and there wasn't much of an atmosphere. Pretty cheap and good service yes, but it has nothing else going for it. I have no idea what the previous posters were thinking of when they commented.
