OK, true the landlady is absolutely excellent at customer relations but the beer is crap! RogerB you obviously enjoy drinking dull flat ale with absolutely no head (CAMRA member?). that's bad enough but i watched the barmaid and the landlady continue to pour the lager until the perfect head poured over the rim of the glass until it was dead level.Lager needs a head. wrong glasses i can tolerate but watching beer get wasted is a tragedy!

The White Cross, Richmond

i'll get this out of the way first; i worked in this pub during the summer of 2003. don't take it personally if the landlord is rude, he's like that to everyone- especially the staff. the pub is fantastic so the sooner Mr & Mrs H (the landlords) leave many more people will be able to enjoy this Richmond landmark.
