The Green Dragon, Alderbury

Unfair comment about being boring. I rate it highly for being old school. I have visited this pub about 5-6 times for food and or a drink, usually at lunchtimes. Friendly staff and smiling service. A very good place to take a friend for a catch up chat. Not a huge range of beers/ciders but well kept and many of my favourites. Solid oak type furniture and log fire. there is a more modern restaurant extension at the back with lovely old herringbone wood floor. The whole place has a nice settled old pub patina to it. Food has always been good and reasonable 2006-7, good and popular sunday lunches.
