The Man of Kent, East Peckham

Visited last night and they had no ales at all and ran out of San Miguel after my husband had had two pints. One poor little barmaid struggling to serve everyone and doing a great job in the circumstances. No specials on the board other than pizzas. I agree that the food is well cooked and fresh but main courses are uninspiring pub grub although first courses are a little more cosmopolitan. Lovely setting beside a river with huge fish to throw bread to but they need to raise their game a little to get a return visit.
