The Woolpack, Banstead

I really like this pub, been on a Thursday night for quiz night and it was packed, good atmosphere and good food. Went for Sunday lunch today, was equally as busy and the food just as good. My only recommendation is that it could be a bit more family friendly, whilst the staff were very welcoming to me and my three young children, it lacked a childrens menu, some crayons and some colouring paper would of been ideal to keep the children entertained whilst waiting for our food. As mentioned before food was very good. I did feel bit rushed to leave although, I know it was very busy in there and the table was needed but nevertheless I don't like to be rushed! I was offered my and paid my bill whilst my kids were finishing their deserts and I had almost a full glass of wine!!! Perhaps not the ideal place to take children, it certaintly wouldn't put me off going again, next time child free!
