The Kings Head, Kettlewell

Read some of the earlier reviews and wasn't sure calling at The Kings Head last week was a good idea. �However, we were all very hungry and nowhere else in the village was serving food so we took the plunge. �

I have to say that I wouldn't have recognised the place from these earlier comments. �We found a nice clean, warm and friendly pub with four good beers on the bar (we tried them all between us so can vouch for the quality), nice thick sandwiches and real home-made chips. �Our top layers were wringing wet after a walk over the top from Starbotton and they even gave us coat hangers to dry our clothes over the roaring fire. �

Verdict: �We all agreed that �we'll be back again next time we're in the area. � � �
