Calverts Court, Stockport

I visited here on Saturday 15th August 2015 to be told when I asked for my usual pint of Abbot that they don't do it. Abbot is the only beer that all the outlets stock, the only one that you know will be consistently good, if that goes then this outlet has nothing else going for it, the service is slow as are most wetherspoons.

My friends and I were disgusted with the availability of the "roast half chicken" on chicken club day and it was only 5pm. when we ordered. The leaflet stated served until 11pm that was a lie as there wasn't any left. So we chose the "boneless chicken breast" very nice but it looked nothing like the picture in the leaflet, no lemon wedge-and don't mention the chips-I didn't need to use my toes as well to count them, my fingers were too many, 8 chips! again nothing like the leaflet. No one came to ask if everything was alright either.
We are not usually the complaining types so the three of us said nothing but just placed this wetherspoons on our ever growing list of their pubs never to eat in again. The bar service could have been faster as well.
