The Crown, Blackheath
Unfortunately in 2003 the owners (scottish and newcastle) were in the process of selling The Crown and were reluctant to invest any money into it for maintenance or re-decorating hence the reason fot the recent poor comments. In September 04 the new owners (Spirit Group) invested some much needed cash into the place and i am glad to say The Crown Has been returned to its former glory "a great local on the high steet". As for the Geordie manager (who happens to be my freind) You Realy do need to check him out.
