The Lamb Hotel, Axbridge

A lovely pub. Great location on Axbridge's medieval square, it is owned by the local Butcombe Brewery, and has their three delicuous beers on tap.

An unusual layout leads through the comfy bar and into the pleasent back-garden. On a recent trip on a Friday I had a whitebait starter and a damn fine steak for a tenner, which can't be bad either!

Highly reccomended.

Seamua O'Donnell's, Exeter

Drank here occasionally as a student. It's a bit of a time-warp, but in a nice way. Great burgers and a good pint in an atmosphere which can't have dated much in the last thirty years.

The Plume Of Feathers, Rickford

Wow! Fantastic location, surrounded by amazing scenery and a pretty little stream. Cider's not bad either.

The Crown Inn, Churchill

A legendry pub, the finest I have ever visited. Gorgeous ales and ciders, the best sandwiches you'll ever eat and pretty barmaids: who could ask for more?

Situated at the top of a dirt track and resembling an abandoned cottage more than a pub (there is no sign) the untouched interior has to be seen to be believed.

The Old Stable, Weston Super Mare

Now re-styled 'Ge'ez' by Giovanni the hilarious Italian landlord. A perenial favourite of the handful of soaks who prop up the bar all day and sixth formers who drop in once a fortnight. Comfy and with a good juke box.
