Food was good, however they mixed up the wine order, beer was in good condition - nice place for a quiet family evening, got the impression the staff want to make you feel welcome.

We were invited by some friends for a very pleasant lunchtime, very good quality food and reasonable prices, friendly attentive staff, highly recommended.

Very welcoming, unpretentious good old fashioned pub, food is good but a bit pricey.

The King William IV, Braintree
Very friendly, superb beer, the best pub in Braintree by far - completely Chav free zone.

devoid of any character, beer tasted past its sell by date, I suppose we should have known better, would benefit from some extra heating too...

Staff could not care less, the food is dreadfull and it smells worse than a sewage plant - is this the worst pub in Essex - I think so.

The Nags Head, Braintree
Beer was good, barstaff friendly and a lively crowd, I would go back
