The Old Goat, Fulwell

Went back the Old Goat for the first time in ages and they now have the Brouge thing going on. Some great Belgian beers on the menu and a few Belgian dishes now also. I had the mussels which I could not fault.

I would recommend trying to get through all the beers on the beer loyalty card.

A pub looks great and has a good atmosphere.I like the way they offer table service when it is not too busy. Have not eaten there but enjoyed a few good nights

I went back to the Old Goat for the first time in about 6 months. It seems a lot busier than I remember it, and it had some subtle changes to the look and feel. A good pub, with good selection of beers, and the menu looked great. Well done.

A good pub with good selection of beers, and a great atmosphere. Always busy which is a good sign.

I have just read through the comments and it is mad how different the perception can be. I have been to the Goat during the week days and had dinner one Friday.

I have to say it was very quiet on a Monday night, then packed out on the Friday, I had a wait a while for a table to eat and was advised to book for future.

I could not fault the food, it was great. They had many choices from a pub menu and a slightly more al a carte menu. I opted for the Steak and Ale pie and it was great, the portion was huge and the guy who served me was quite proud of the fact it was made from fresh ingredients everyday. I think it was around 7 for the steak and ale pie. I'd say that is fairly good value given the portion and fact it is freshly made.

I live in Teddington now where there is an ambundance of great places to drink and eat and still I would say this place is well worth a visit.
