The King and Castle, Kidderminster
Visited the SVR last Sunday. A pint of Bathams to accompany the all day breakfast, 1st class!! A well balanced diet!!
Well worth a visit.

Very good pint of Black Sheep on Tuesday afternoon. Had to stand in the alley though.

Like the Crown in the town centre, a good honest pub with no frills, and good beer.

Made my 1st visit on Monday evening after promising myself to go for the last 20 odd years. Worth the wait? Yes! Good atmosphere and choice of beers. Perhaps a lick of paint once the smoking ban comes into force may not go amiss, but at the moment many establishments fall into this catergory. Snack range was also 1st class. It won't 20 years before visit number 2!
Must say most of the regulars looked as if they were on their way to a Fidel Castro lookalike competition!!

New pub just opened in Crewe. Part of the Smith and Jones chain. Went in on Sunday night, sorry to say that I was not very impressed. Too many kids! Should it improve I will let the site know.

Went last Monday. Staff frendly and the Taylor's was first class. Was I lucky, or were others unlucky?

Called in last night on way home from Whitchurch. Pete has hit the nail on the head. It,s just what a country pub should be, 1st class beers that are well kept.
