This is a friendly no-frills pub with a good selection of real ales compared to other nearby pubs. While I was there, Beartown Kodiak Gold ran out and was replaced by Oakham Inferno, both in good nick. Thwaites and Bass seem to be the regulars. Pub grub is available early evenings every day.
