The Narrow Boat, Skipton

a brilliant place for an afternoon pint. The staff are great, you can have a good conversation with them ( makes a change from most skipton pubs ) a bit on the dark side, but not really such a bad thing.

The Boltmakers Arms, Keighley

What a gem. this pub must surely be the jewel in the Taylor's Crown. The best pint of Landlord i have ever had. This pub is no nonesense, but simply brilliant.

The Brown Cow, Keighley

Not a bad pub, just not that great either. dont know why the CAMRA group rave about it so much????? i have tried to go in twice recently, but the place was shut. i suppose they must be making plenty with the prices they charge. the beer range seems a bit stuck in a rut too. all in all, not bad, but not as good as the CAMRA bunch would have you believe. try the Cricketers, much mor lively and a wider range of beers too.
