The Jubilee Oak, Crawley

Glad to see that marketing department of Wetherspoons are earning their keep!
In Fairness, I visited the Jubliee Oak on Friday and Saturday during my travels, and the staffing levels seem to have much improved and I had no trouble getting served quickly.
I didn't mention the door men in my last post, but they are polite and friendly.
Only point of concern was the water streaming through a light fitting and down the bannisters on the stairs on Friday night.
Obviously an isolated incident, but a bit worrying.

The BreweryShades, Crawley

Like the White Hart quite a good pub.
A good selection of drinks all round, and the food looks pretty good too (spying on other customers).
Quite busy at the weekends, but doesn't seem to attract the Pikey,Chav,Schoolchild contingent.
If you like Karaoke (which for my sins I do) it's good fun on a Tuesday as well.
One of the better pubs in town

The Jubilee Oak, Crawley

Very much a pub of 2 halves.
If you want a few cheap drinks (from an extensive selection), willing to go early, and planning to move on, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
Anything else, forget it!
After about 8pm it becomes mission impossible to get served, the pub becomes full of schoolkids and the cast of crime watch.
It's also bloody cold.
Have a few cheap drinks at the start of your evening............then go!

The White Hart, Crawley

Not a bad pub at all. A good selection fo beers anf friendly bar staff.
Very busy and lively at the weekends and often plays host to live music.
Can be a problem getting to the bar through the blockade of regulars, but is generally worth the effort.
