The Cabbage Patch, Twickenham

I really enjoyed last night in here.
the Fullers was top class.
the Pizzas were authentic and lovely.
and I for one think the re-furb is tasteful and sympathetic. Well Done.

The Quarry Bank Inn, Timperley

First time in this pub. I really liked it. The Ale was great, and the pub atmosphere was like pubs used to be. Cant wait to go back.

The Sawyers Arms, Paddington

probably the best pub in the area.
Good beer.
Edible food.
staff ok.If they didnt run the place firmly, it would be full of assholes

The Clubhouse, Twickenham

nice pub, like the staff, like the ambience, like the plain no-nonsense home-made food.

The Charlie Butler, Mortlake

Was in here last night.
I have been using it for 10 years.
I remember the last landlord, I'm glad hes gone, however, his wife could cook. Her specials were worth travelling for.
Todays refurbed pub is so much better than before. Dino is typically Italian; charges like the cavalry. But his beer is better, and the pub is more comfortable than before.
I didnt try the food but I will next time. Has anybody noticed that the public bar has been retained.
This really bucks the trend as far as brewery refurbs go.
I wish them well.

The Old Anchor, Twickenham

Enjoyed my visit.
Pleasant barstaff or was that the new landlord?
Anyway friendly welcome from locals too.
Definitely be back.

The Nags Head, Belgravia

A must visit pub.
It reminds you of what pubs were like before pubco's got their plundering hands on them.
call in here on your way to or from The Star.

The Albany, Twickenham

went in Mid afternoon,
very quiet, very nice, very good music.
Tucked away, somewhere to bring a wife?

The Barmy Arms, Twickenham

I like this pub.
I had mussels for lunch, overlooking the thames.
A pint of Adnams.
Pleasant staff in uniform.
Funnily enough, I then went and seen The Stones play at Twickenham. Quess what, they played Sympathy for the Devil.
