The Duke of Leeds, Wales

I recently called by and found that this pub has been reopened, and found that this pub has been bought by the landlord of the lord conyers. They are hoping to turn this back into a real ale pub and serve good pub food after some refurbishment. Mark the bar manager was a really nice chap and very welcoming, and gave some good information of the local area as we are new to the area. Although the pub was quiet, i will be returning over the coming weeks with my parents and really looking forward to this. If you are looking for a nice traditional local pub, with a warm welcoming and great pint, the duke of leeds is perfect for you.

Lord Conyers Arms, Wales

I recently visited this pub to enquire about their function room, but i will be definately be back for a few beers after pay day! The landlord was very friendly and so helpful for all of our questions. Their function room was of resonable size and the buffet menu was very well priced for what they had to offerThe food being served looked and smelt great! The pub was very clean and looking forward to it being my local. Its a shame no-one has yet to review it, but from what I have heard from speaking around is they do live bands and have a DJ at weekends. Definately worth a visit.

The Sheaf View, Heeley

I used to live in Heeley and this was one of my favourites. Brilliant selection of ales, at excellent prices, and also a great selection of continental largers. The staff have been brillant on every visit, and always warm and welcoming. It is a great pub for all ages, and a must visit.

The Duke of Leeds, Wales

I have just moved into Wales from living in the Sheffield centre, and very much looked forward to visiting this pub as I have heard many good reviews. Sadley from Speaking to some of the locals, I have heard this pub has been shut for several weeks and no idea whether it is closed for good. If anyone has anymore information please do update.

The Two Sawyers, Pett

I used to work in this Pub for just over 3 years (between 2003 and 2007), and what a pleasure it was. It was a real shame to see it close for as long as it did, however from what I have heard it has now re-opened under new management. I will be coming down from Sheffield this weekend to sample it once again, so will be able to update my comments next week. If it is anything like it used to be then I would rate this as a warming, kind, friendly, local pub with fantastic home cooked food and a must when visiting Hastings or the South East in general.
