Roddy's Bar, South Ealing

Right last pub on the pub crawl, not a bad pub to finish......but it was dead so it was on the bus and back to the shanakee for another tasty pint of guinness before catching the tube.

The Plough Inn, South Ealing

Good pint but bloody expensive after the previous bars I was in.....

Good pint of Guinness, but no a peck on the other two Irish bars, comfy bar, after all the pints I needed some food, a typical thai menu was on offer. Filled the gap.

Jackson's Wine Bar, Northfields

Ok, I skipped two pubs on my pub crawl, 1) The Star and Anchor - Great Pub and 2) The Black George - Shit hole to the highest degree. Sorry had to put the reviews here as they are not on this site.

Back to this pub, another pub with bad lager, had a bottle than left. Nothing to write home about

Flanagans, West Ealing

After a bad pint of lager across the road I decided on a guinness, good choice, great pint.....now i'm in two minds to say if this is better than the shanakee or not. Was a bit quiet but the barman and his old locals at the end kept everyone in conversation. ..................................Right I have to say it might be slightly better pints wise but better athmosphere in the shanakee. Two good pubs.

The Castlebar, West Ealing

Right ok, I waited for 10 minutes to be served, tried red stripe and it tasted horrible, complained and nothing was done...why guys? come on....why would I hand back a full pint, I've nothing to gain apart from trying to get a better pint.

Ashbys, West Ealing

After a few bad pints in previous pubs it was good to getting back tasting proper pints. Was a bit on the quiet side, so moved on across the road, will pop back for the music at the weeked.

O'Neills, Ealing

Irish pub that sells terrible guinness, maybe the staff from the Shanakee can come around and show them a thing or two, again must be said an irish pub with no irish in it.....weird.

Sir Michael Balcon, Ealing

Not bad but your typical standard JD pub, a nice pint of Cider then was time to move on

The North Star, Ealing

Out of the Shanakee and into this place, could not drink the guinness, had to move on to a larger, then had to move on completly....why are these pubs busy?

The Shanakee, Ealing

Straight out of the station and a great start to my pub crawl....pints are good but served a bit sloppy. Top marks for an eneteraining hour with the locals fighting with each other in a good way. Jukebox could do with being turned down a bit
