we were seriously ripped off in this joint yesterday.8.30 for a pint and a bacardi and diet coke........shocking!!... it was only 6.50 for the same drinks on the pier (and a better view)

The Black Horse, Barnet

excellent boozer a 5 minute walk away from Barnet High Street. They have some good live bands on some weekends. Landlord Rick is a top bloke and always has time for a chat with everyone. good beer garden to while away those lazy summer evenings too

The Spring Tavern, Ewell

had lunch there yesterday with my wife.i wasn't impressed with the size of my meal.had scampi and chips. the scampi was ok but the chips (i counted 9 of them on my plate) looked and tasted as though they had been bought from the local chippy the night before and reheated. also lots of litter strewn around the outside eating area. however, staff were very friendly and helpful

Modello Bar & Kitchen, Watford

had a top night there last Saturday..good mixture of people and music. Drinks were priced lower than your average pub which surprised me. The only thing that i didn't like was the security bloke monitoring the pub from the stage Gestapo like when there was no hint of trouble

Royal Oak, Bushey

visited the pub today (St Georges Day)..fair play to them they are the only pub in the area that have done something to celebrate Englands day. The landlord & Landlady were extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back there. Beer was good too. Cant wait to pay them a visit on a summers afternoon when we will take advantage of their superb looking garden bar

The Chelsea Potter, Chelsea

took my wife there last night after previously raving to her about the brilliant jukebox in there. Totally disappointed when we got there and the jukebox is no more! Still not a bad pub though

The Ugly Duckling (Harvester), Tatling End

we went there for our works Xmas do on Friday. The carvery meal was excellent and the very generous chef piled the plates with gammon and turkey. Great value for money as the 3 courses came 13 quid. Very helpful and friendly staff- they even gave us a cab number for our next port of call

The Three Tuns, Uxbridge

i was in there last night and i reckon you wont find a better boozer in Uxbridge than this one. Great atmosphere and a lovely drop of 'Rosy Nosy' Xmas ale to boot. also you can fall out of here and straight onto the tube

The Railway Tavern, New Barnet

what a great pub watch to watch football in. good crowd..a lovely drop of Bombardier and wait for it....TV screens in the gents toilets. So, if you really need to have a lash but cant tear yourself away from the match this battle cruiser is a must

The Pickle Jar, Harefield

i was in there a couple of weeks ago. the smell in the toilets was revolting. i think they need to hang a flatulent pig in there for an air freshener

The George, London Bridge

what a cracking boozer..walking down Borough High Street and stumbled on this one. they had Morris Dancers struting their stuff. had a drink with them after..said they'll be back next year..top pub for St Georges day next time around

The Steam Coach, Boxmoor

good little boozer with great staff apart from the landlady, who, in these days of more relaxed licensing laws needs to chill out a touch at chucking out time. A nice pint of fosters served though

The Horse and Jockey, Wadsley

nice cozy pub up the hill from Hillsborough Stadium. Ideal for a few beers before the match. I was a visiting QPR supporter and was made to feel very welcome. They do an excellent pint of hobgoblin in there too

great food pub. massively popular on Sundays. good beer garden. friendly and professional staff. don't normally like Carlsberg lager but its an excellent pint in here. lovely in the garden on a summers evening

The Stinging Nettle, Shepherds Bush

used to be my favorite pub in the bush.had some great nights in there especially when QPR won promotion in 2004. it is now ruined by some tasteless yuppie entreprenaur. it looks like a dentists waiting room. Bowls of sugar lumps on the tables-who do they expect to come in, Steptoes horse?
