Good pub this, very friendly staff and good selection of beers and wine, but it is a bit over priced if you don't get there in time for happy hour. But nice garden and comfy sofas so you can't complain.

I agreed with the previous review until it came under new management last month, and now it is a lot better, think the pipes have been cleaned in what must have been years, finally got rid of the horrible men that would sit around the bar so you were unable to get a drink, its much cleaner, they've finally got a patio heater and starting to give you reasons to go there like the new open mic night. Still not my favourite pub in brighton but a damn site better than it was a few months ago.

Good for a cheap pint and a meal straight out the microwave if you know what I mean, but unless you're looking for a fight I would avoid this place like the plague!

I must say i totally disagree with previous reviews... This is possibly my favourite pub ever, great selection of beers and ciders, great food, very friendly staff and nice modern decor. I couldn't praise this pub enough!

Dirty, smelly, unfriendly staff and even less friendly locals, unless you enjoy being stared at and like to drink out of a glass thats never been washed do not go here it surely can't be good for your health!
