Well Where to start!! After swimming in the ladies and paying �2 for a lollypop then being stood on by midgets I decided that it was time to leave!!!

Well to be perfectly honest with you I am glad that this is the only one in Watford. It makes it unique and there is nothing I like more than to go there and pretend that I am not in Watford!! Great bar! When I told my friend that it has a garden as well she was shocked!! Fab garden fab abiance and just a generally brilliant place to be in!! Jazz, Booze and candles!! Thanks for keeping it just the way it is!!

Well, I worked in here years ago now and was just checking to see what it was like now but no comments!! :( anyone who checks this pub please review it so I can remember some fun nights!! Who runs it now?

Hey just to add a new comment, I was in the pub the other day and I had a look at the new and improved menu!!
It seems to be the best of british! Spam burgers, Marmite on toast, kippers you name it!! Very original! Still has the classic meals aswell so dont be afraid. I think it needs to be given a go!

Well I haven't been in for a while but its one of the nicest pubs I have been in. Friendly staff cozy atmosphere and its so good to see because there was a worry that we may loose it but all credit to new management they have bought back the boot!

If you want live music in a friendly atmosphere then this is the place to go! The only place I know in watford that has got the balance of being a pub in the day and a music venue in the evening completey right.
Very good service and the food is good to! If you don't fancy the town centre then i do advise walking under the subway and paying it a visit especially if you like live music!
Arrive earlier on a friday night though as you may have to cue!! It gets Very busy

Make it what you want it to be. Go in and chill out in the day or drink shot after shot of bizzare tasting vodkas (40 different types!) in the evenings!
Busy at weekends and if you need the loo then make sure you leave with plenty of time to spare as they are hidden far far away!! ( there is a short cut though if the upstairs is open! )

Snazzy bar! Service is terrible though. Drinks are expensive and to be fair if you look back over the history of that building you'd think it was cursed!! Not only was one member of staff pretending to know it all he also was very rude to my friends and I!
If the staff were any good it would be ok but yet another "cosmo" bar for watford to put up with!!
PS Check out the door policy on the back of the menu! If your under 23 and drunk you'll be thrown out, what about us over 23! Way-hey!

I was looking forward to a walkabout opening in town as all the others I have been in have been Great, This one is a shame though! If you wanna watch sport then there is more than enough tv's! Staff are slower than the average and the atmosphere could be so much better. If you come across a different walkabout go in and compere it to this one and you'll understand!!

Oh my.....a couple of weeks ago I went there for a Saturday night gig.....It was one of the best nights I have ever had.......!!!!!!
If you fancy a good dance to a great band then keep your eyes open for a band called...Scandal...They Rocked!!!!! Welll worth a listen....it was busy though so get there early!
