The Wallace, Wallacetown

I belong to the town of Ayr and have no particular local, i tend to go where the notion takes me. I am usually a daytime drinker and must disagree with the previous comments re-beer. When i have been in i found the beer in good codition and the staff pleasant.

Not a bad pub during the day,especially the kareoke on Monday afternoon.If you go in at the weekend , remember to take your gumshield.

The Smugglers, Ayr

This is actually not a bad wee pub.It nestles in along with the other lower end of the scale pubs, being at the wrong end of town. Look out though for the Libby one ,she is head honcho and boy does she let you know it. She has a face like a melted wellington and looks as if she is chewing a wasp.There is generally a good atmosphere when she is off shift.
