A dreadfully overpriced pub , ridiculous really (r they in central London), God paid less for a beer in the Savoy bar! Awful ripoff of a place. A very lazy pub with idle staff. Shame really as nice location. Have to agree with others i'd stretch myself to beat 0/10, a real ripoff and staff r so poor. Company summer party seeks location??? This place is a big NONO!!
Food was really really dreadful n I'll eat anything.

I have spent my life enjoying pubs, they are my hobby I suppose. Always loved it . Lived in St A for many years. I keep giving this place a second, third , fourth chance etc etc etc. It is just dismal, one of the worst pubs ever to get a license , surely if Mr Martin attended he would be ashamed. I don't say this over any recent issues or any issues indeed, just a terribly run place that gives British pubs a bad name. Shame.

great pub, weird but lovely locals, they all seem to know each other very well . That's what a pub's about innit. No real ale but the mix in there is unique. young , old , male, female. Strange place , not everyone's cuppa tea but loved it when in St Albans. Yep, I'm sure characters beyond belief in there, it's a throwback! Nice staff too.
