Hotel du Vin and Bistro, Brighton

Pub du vin just down the road from the bistro /hotel has a large selection of unusual bottled beers and a really good stance on your classic pub grub with the Du Vin twist.
Have enjoyed some lovely lunches here either after staying in the hotel or christmas shopping in Brighton - look out for Du vin offers on their website!

The White Horse, Steyning

We love this newly refurbed pub/restaurant and always enjoy a delicious lunch there. Have been with a large group (including baby), small groups or just the two of us and have always been extremely happy with our food , surroundings and the food.
Love the open plan kitchen and the lunch time sharing boards.

The White Horse, Pulborough

My husband and I visited this pub with close friends as they were doing a seafood evening.
My husband frequents it regularly for a drink and was impressed with the seafood menu.
We had a superb meal / evening and experience , the fish was beautifully fresh and presented in a "restaurant" style. The staff knew what each dish was from the oysters , lobster and crab on offer that night (although my husbands friend is not a seafood lover so opted for the fillet steak without the King prawn!)
The restaurant where we were sat was buzzing and lively although for future reference we would have liked to sit in the bar area but apparently you must book early on events and the weekend to secure one of these tables.
All in all a great time and we are looking forward to their next event.
