Visited recently with the family on a mid week evening and had two good pints of GK Abbot with a decent steak in front of the open fire. Friendly and worth an 8/10.

The pub reopened on 19 March, after major redecoration, by the new owners who are wine merchants based near Staple. The bar is now in the room at the rear, with the restaurant in the front two rooms.

The Railway Bell, Temple Ewell
Went in on a Tuesday, early afternoon and it was very quiet, but I had a nice pint of Harvey's Sussex whist reading the paper. The bar lady was welcoming and friendly.
