Soulless, unfriendly place.

Excllent local - very friendly staff - really made an effort.
Fab Thai food.

Excellent (albeit old fashioned looking) local pub.
Friendly but not overpowering staff.
Good beer and wine by the small (or large) bottle.

I was so disappointed after reading the below.
Was noisy and dark and the only reason I could see that people had gone there was to order the (admittedly good looking) food.
Bar area cramped and hard to access due to having too many tables - see above re food!

The Worlds End, Finsbury Park
Poor - sitting in there the other day and the usual 'DVD mate' seller came in.
Wouldn't take on for an answer and got agressive.
Staff quite happy for him to do it - says a lot.
