Lady Hamilton, Neston

Never been, never want to.

Wheatsheaf, Ness

A bit too clean (or not if you like that kind of thing!) Doesn't have a good beer selection and the meals are very "sorry we haven't got any of that one left" - i.e. we're suspecting heavy use of the microwave. Not bad for spontaneous sunday lunches or when you can't be bothered to cook. Don't go out of your way though.

The Hinderton arms, Neston

Great looking pub inside with a great menu, however, the quality of the food recently was disappointing. Not bad beer though and a good atmostphere.

Harp Inn, Little Neston

Quite a locals pub but not scary. Usually a decent selection of real ales etc but sometimes the quality does let it down a bit. Has a special place in my heart as a great cosy little local.

Mex Cantina, Wakefield

Not the restaurant but the bar. Great atmostphere, awesome outside drinking, lovely decor upstairs, top barstaff. Music maybe a touch too loud for a bar.

The Snooty Fox, Wakefield

Not a pub you'd automatically walk into but great atmosphere and music as previous comments. Great for getting away from pretentiousness.

Ikon / Mustang Sally's, Wakefield

Just don't, unless you really, really have to (the beer monkey is evil i know).

Bing Bada Boom, Wakefield

You could call this a pub...but it's stretching the definition a bit. Just your bog standard very large bar/club that is best to be avoided on a weekend and during the week as there are far better pubs/bars in Wakefield by the dozen.

Red Bar, Wakefield

I second that about the bar staff. Quality bar, great food.

The Graziers, Wakefield

Good selection of real ales. Really pleasant especially when quiet.

The Elephant and Castle, Wakefield

Really good value food for lunches. Great pint of John Smiths Cask.
