The Barley Mow, Mayfair

The best pint of Bombardier i have had in a good while. And the staff couldn't have done enough for us.
Toilets were a little on the dodgy side but a second pint of the good stuff put that right.
Wasn't overly impressed with our sandwiches, when bread is the main ingredient then it should be super fresh, ours were a bit crispy.
Very good beer though

The Bank, Bristol

We had four pints of very well kept and quite unusually named bitters, three of which i have never heard of or seen. Nice to find a pub that can serve beer at a good temperature and not too cold. The wyffe ale was very good, as was the the two bath ales. This place also had a great selection of ciders local and national. we will visit again to try the ciders.

Food was above average and better than expected, everywhere was clean and staff were very relaxed, helpful and friendly.

The Avon Brewery Inn, Salisbury

We thought this was going to be awful as we entered, a bit tatty and very aged and not too busy. I am pleased to say that the beer was excellent, especially the Ringwood best, we also had the hobgoblin. Nice price too, reasonable.
Let down a bit by the food as we waited an age for something just above average, and the untidy decor. Would go back for the beer as was in great condition.
Just needs a tidy up then this would be a top pub.

The Buckingham Arms, Westminster

We really enjoyed this Pub. Bombardier & Wandle were both superb and in very good nick and managed two more that we shouldn't of.

Our lunch was average, but a good average for a Ploughman's. Wouldn't dine in the evenings there would would go back for a pint & lunch.

Very clean pub with very helpful bar staff.

The Bugle Inn, Twyford

I too was breathless with Excitement!!!!!!

Seriously though i did have a top meal here, my first time visiting as well. A great find as it has a diverse and interesting menu that was full of flavour and better than most top restaurants i eat in London. Staff were polite and friendly, even though it was very, very busy.

Didn't get to try the Swift one as was not on, but did try two beers from a local brewer, flower pots brewery. Gooden's gold was lovely and quite pale and our favorite was the Job Done- a rich dark bitter.

Will be visiting again soon.

County Arms, Winchester

Visited on way back from train station, had a decent pint of IPA that was a good temperature and a very good price.

Toilets etc all great as well and the pub was very clean. We both ate, and although nothing special the food was hot, well presented but a bit bland. Good value for food as well.

Would go back for a Ruddles when i am back in Winchester.

The Cross Keys, Covent Garden

Very good Brodie ales, we tried seven, and all were excellent. Toilets a little disappointing, as was the lunch, but with top beer like that we will visit again, and again.

The staff were really helpful too and had time for all of us

The Guildhall Tavern, Winchester

Cracking pint of pride, best we have had for a while.

Shame there was no food as would have enjoyed a sandwich and probably stayed for another beer!
