The Bulls Head, Wootton Wawen

this was a big disappointment when we went recently. we'd heard it had changed hands and hoped for an improvement, but if anything it had gone down hill.
menu looked promising, but food was average at best. Service was the only redeeming feature.

The Bluebell, Henley In Arden

a very comfortable feelt o it. the building certainly has lots of atmosphere and can get very busy especially at weekends. Good Timothy Taylor Landlord and Hook Norton always seem to be on when I have been in. Food looks good and they always look busy with diners. Not the cheapest place in town, but this strategy certainly seems to keep the chavs away. Barstaff are quite easy on the eye, which is always a bonus!

The Oak, Hockley Heath

have been to the restaurant acouple of times and found it consistently good for lunch, french style market adjoining which made for an interesting wander around.

The Navigation Inn, Lapworth

Nice place if you can afford it!

The Famous Virgins and Castle, Kenilworth

Had lunch recently, sushi to start which was great, main courses not brilliant, but taht said still better than what most places turn out! Enjoyed the wine (am I allowed to talk about wine on this website?) and they let us "try before you buy" which was good. Nice little patio out the back.

The Kenilworth, Kenilworth

Brilliant little spot. OK so it's not a pub, but if you are looking for somewhere different then it ticks the boxes - nice music, good drinks, stylish atmosphere and friendly staff. Wins my vote.
