A proper nice bar with a good atmosphere and decent music. No TV screens and no karaoke which is a relief.
Drinks are more expensive than elsewhere in Aldershot, but worth the price hike.
Utterly packed on Friday and Saturday nights.

An excellent pub with excellent food, I really enjoy coming here. It's especially nice sitting outside by the canal in summer.
I don't think the food is over-priced at all, as it is generally of an excellent quality.

A nice little pub, good beer and *very* friendly staff and locals. A little smokey for me though.

This has been renamed yet again and is now the Queen Victoria. While not exactly salubrious, it's never too full on a Friday or Saturday night, it's roomy and central and it serves Hogsback Brewery's Tea.
Avoid when they have live music though, it's truly awful.

This place has now been refurbished and renamed the Europa bar. Now, instead of a place frequented by drunken squaddies, it's a place without squaddies but even less atmosphere. Best avoided.

The Tattershall Castle, Embankment
Worth going for the view and because it's a good central location, a stones throw away from Waterloo Station.
It's expensive, crowded in summer and not enough bar staff, but it does have atmosphere.
