Essence, Kingston

Great music from brilliant DJs, nice relaxed atmosphere with a touch of class that Kingston badly needed. Prices are slightly high but so is everywhere else in Kingston that's open after 12.

The Norbiton and Dragon, Norbiton

Great place to eat and drink. I never saw this pub before it was refurbished but I think it looks welcoming and comfortable now. The food is amazing and so cheap! Great mix of original pub food and thai. The garden is great in the summer and the staff are so friendly.

Prince of Wales, Hampton Court

I like the Prince, the people are varied, the food is delicious & reasonably priced, good range of drinks and the managers are friendly. What more do you need when you visit a pub? Only thing I would say is the toilets could do with updating and maybe making two toilets in the girls instead of three because it is really hard to get in and out of the cubicles and that's coming from a small woman!

The Europa, East Molesey

I can't say I spend much time in here, feel a bit out of place and uncomfortable inside if you don't know the regulars. The garden however is great for kids in the nice weather.

The Royal Oak, West Molesey

I kind of like the Oak, although if not known you do feel slightly like you're walking into someone's front room at first, once they realise you;re OK, the regulars get on with whatever they are doing. Food is nice, it's peaceful and I like what they have done outside this year.

The Lord Hotham, West Molesey

I have lived in Molesey for a LONG time and until this year had never stepped foot in here despite at one point living the next road along. Although my experience wasn't terrible I don't think I would be making a regular appearance. It's stuck in a time warp with the same old customers and I don't think has any intent to change.

The Bell, East Molesey

Although I rarely visit this pub in the winter months, this year I have a couple of times already and now wonder why I haven't more often. It's in walking distance of my home and a great place to have a quiet comfortable drink. The food is nice but possibly a little over priced for pub food and the telly and games machines are tucked away separately so if you do want peace and quiet you won't be disturbed. It's always been a summer pub to me where families are welcome in the decent sized garden with great children's play area.
