O'Neills, Shepherds Bush

was in on Friday night and saw Bang-On, an Irish band and they were wicked!!! You have to see these guys play, everyone dances and has a good time, get to O'Neills and find out when they are playing, and must see band!

O'Neills, Kingston Upon Thames

I agree with Dermot, these guys are good. Real Irish music... jigs, reels and songs. Traditional instruments played, mandolin, guitar and bodhran even a banjo and bass at times. Great atmosphere with lots of dancing, the band really make you feel part of the evening taking requests and chatting with the punters, they even come off the stage and dance with the crowd. Bang-On is a band not to miss! Great to have real Irish music in an Irish pub, keep up the good work lads.

Jono's, Ealing Common

was in on Sunday and heard a band called Bang-On, they were wicked. Irish music in an Irish pub! Great tunes and songs kept us all going. The big lad sang The Gren Fields Of France so well it would have made The Fureys worried that his version was better than theirs. Guy on the mandolin is great, the speed he plays is unreal, and the Bodhran player keeps a good steady beat which you just have to tap your feet to.
A great band in a great pub

Great pub! Good atmos, good food and great music! Bang On are wicked, the trio knock out some great Irish music covering traditional and modern stuff, some toe tapping tunes and great songs make them a band not to miss.

Please bring back Bang-On, the Irish band! They played every Friday and it was great. I know they are big in London now and are playing the big gigs but it would be so good to have them back!
