Blue Anchor, Crowborough

decent pub, beer always really well kept. good quiz every couple of weeks. relaxed kind of place, no music, fairly smart.

The Swan Inn, Betley

great pub. I am from sussex, but was working up this way for a couple of days. proper beer pub, doesn't do food. The bass was excellent. They had other beers but no need to try when the bass was this good. Graham the landlord is a decent bloke and he seems to know what he's doing. Theres always something on every night, darts , dominoes etc. Wish it was my local

Sankey's, Tunbridge Wells

this place has gone badly downhill. went in there yesterday, there was an absolutely battered woman screaming and stacking into things. this was only at 5 0 clock. there was a russell brand lookalike who liked the sound of his foul mouthed tirades too much. the barman was rude and arrogant and there were various other pretentious twats littering the place. such a shame as was good. will not be returning

The Plough, West Sutton

i liked this pub. seemed very quiet for a saturday night, which was worrying but pool table, darts board, dodgy 80's carpet add to the charm. exterior as of 70's, interior 80's. contrary to report below youngs was very good. hope they can carry on!

The White Hart, Crowborough

since the refurbishment it is much better, and i do wish the new owners well. but it is a bit lacking still. when you walk in its a bit like a hotel foyer. the beer is fine now, but its not really a place to go for a pint.

The White Hart, Crowborough

u could not do a better job running a pub down if you tried. the landlord is a gippo. he has got a nice couple in to try and turn things around but i can't see it being long before its turned into houses. truly awful place and expensive too. could be so good, but i can't actually think of a worse pub. many shite pubs often have something about them but not this one.

The Farmers, Sevenoaks

i think this place is great, an absolute disgrace that its going to be shut down. great interior, octagonal pool table, always lively.

Cross Keys, Tunbridge Wells

pub that seems to have lost the plot a bit to me. unexceptional which is fine, but is stunningly expensive for a pub of that ilk.

The Rose and Crown, Tunbridge Wells

great place. Like a historic monument, stunningly old fashioned. Got an old price list up from 1968 and doesn't seem to have changed much. Great beer and a real specialist place.
