Best wetherspoons i've ever been too. Because of it's size they is usually a good mix of people although there are more students than anyone else.
If you live in Exeter they will always be some one you know in there.
Comes into its own in the summer when there are many beer festivals and an open air cinema. Lovely for relaxing out in the grounds after a hot summer's day.
Food is reasonable too.

Good on thursdays as it's pound a pint, lively atmosphere and loads of pool tables! It will be a lot nicer if a total smoking ban is introduced.

Over priced and horrible atmosphere. Full of ponces and not worth entering, when they are many better pubs a short walk away.

The Old Fire House, Exeter
Excellent atmosphere, very freindly. Only problem is that it is getting too popular and gets crowded from about 7pm onwards.
