The Britannia Inn, Farnworth

I didn't like this pub before, but now its been refurbed and the previous landlord has gone things have certaintly perked up - better service, better products, better price and more going on.
I hope they get the outside area tidy and ready for easter and there will still be the Beer Festivals next year, but the signs so far are good - keep up the great work

Brass Cat (Bears Paw), Bolton

This pub looks average from the outside and it gets no better inside. The previous comment still holds true - its only consistancy is its absolute inconsistancy - opening times, service, cleanliness, drink quality, they can all range from acceptable to awful. Not sure who they are trying to attract?

Brocket Arms, Wigan

Stopped going in this pub, when the last manager was there, everything seemed to go down hill. Reluctantly went back in again recently and what a change. Former glory seems to have been restored, the service was both quick and friendly, the new manager (who used to work there a few years ago) is like a breath of fresh air around the place. She has certainly got the place buzzing again and will defiantly return again to sample the great range of ales and the fine food. Cheers

The Unicorn, Manchester

What an amazing transformation this pub has had since the new manager has taken over a month ago. The place is now clean, the service is friendly and best of all there is always ale available and the quality has been fantastic. Its hard to remember how bad it had become under the previous manager, but I would now recommend this pub to all fellow ale drinkers who are looking for a traditional pub in a modern world in the heart of Manchester. Thank-you
